As required by most large feeding institutions such as Hospitals and Schools, ProFlex White white handled knives and accessories are NSF ( National Sanitary Foundation ) Certified. The color white in the handles is a prescribed function to show the dirt. The handles have guaranteed strength of attachment by "direct injection molding " the polypropylene to the blade. This also eliminates gaps and seams that may allow bacteria to accumulate. All ProFlex White knives are also dishwasher safe.

Construction: Stamped blades, the tang of the blade is molded 50% through the handle.

Steel & Sharpness: High Carbon/No Stain ( Stainless ) Chrome Molybdenum Steel is put through several highly guarded tempering and treatment processes to produce a long lasting edge that can be easily re-sharpened over and over throughout the life of the knife. ICEL blades are properly beveled and tapered to accept a final perfectly aligned edge which is ready to use right from the box. All wavy/scalloped edges are ground deep for long lasting cutting performance.

Special note: All ICEL knives are made with the same high quality steel. It is only the construction to fit the function that is different. We know how to make cutlery only one way, the right way!
